I have drilled a hole and soldered on an rp-sma male. This allows me to use any antenna I want compared to being stuck with the on board antenna. It was soldered any way so it also made the module un-removable which was stupid as it was designed as a module for a reason... to be modular. Soldering the coax cable to the TX was a bit tricky but should be doable by any one with some soldering experience. Remember flux is your friend.
