This is an EPP foam trainer that I picked up from West Michigan Park Flyers for my son to learn on. Currently it is done but needs some adjustment as its pulling to the left for some reason. I will get some more pictures and add them to this post to give a better idea of the finished product.
The build consists of the following components:
- EMAX CF2812 KV1534 BRUSHLESS MOTOR
- 1000mah zippy compact 3s
- 8×45 prop
- generic 20a esc
- FRSKY V8R4-II RX
- Foam Tac Glue
I also just wanted to take a minute to mention Foam Tac glue. If you do foam planes and have not used this then you seriously need to try it. While it is expensive it is very much worth the cost. Repairs end up stronger than the foam was before the break. I can not recommend it enough.
